This month, we’re delighted to spotlight Zefron Cochrane, our upbeat, enthusiastic, and endlessly personable Lettings Negotiator here at 1Let. With a background in hospitality and a Business with Marketing degree, Zefron brings a brilliant mix of communication skills, organisation, and genuine warmth to every part of his work.
From Hospitality to Lettings
Zefron discovered his passion for property while at university, realising how much he enjoyed helping people find homes that truly suited their lifestyle. That spark led him into the world of lettings - and he’s never looked back.
A People Person Through and Through
One of the things that makes Zefron stand out is his love of meeting new people. He thrives on giving tenants a warm welcome and helping them settle into their new home. As he puts it, “It’s such a nice feeling helping people get settled - I love giving tenants that first positive experience.” He’s also unusually fond of move-in admin, joking, “I know not everyone loves admin… but I genuinely do! There’s something satisfying about having everything perfectly organised.”

Life Outside the Office
Outside of work, Zefron is full of surprises. People are often shocked to learn he plays rugby - especially since he describes himself as having been “a shy boy” when he started. Over time, the sport helped build his confidence and shaped the outgoing character he is today. If he had to sum himself up in three words? “Outgoing, enthusiastic, chatterbox.”
A lover of horror films, his favourites include classics like Scream, Halloween, and A Nightmare on Elm Street - the kind of suspense-filled, nostalgic horrors he insists “new ones just don’t quite capture.” He’s also still riding the high of seeing Taylor Swift’s 2024 Eras Tour, which he calls “a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Moments That Matter Most
When it comes to personal milestones, his graduation, becoming an uncle, and watching his best friends receive their degrees all rank among his proudest moments - proof of how much he values both personal growth and the people closest to him.
Here at 1Let, Zefron brings energy, positivity, and a real sense of care to every day.
