Ken Bell MSc, MARLA (Managing Director)

Ken joined the 1Let team as a Property Manager in 2008 after further academic study at Heriot-Watt University where he attained an MSc in Urban Real Estate Management and Development. Previously Lettings Manager, Lettings Director and latterly Sales Director, Ken acquired 1Let in late 2021 to become Managing Director.

Beata Lozyniak, MARLA (Operations Director)

Beata joined the 1Let team in November 2015 as a Property Manager. Having worked in letting agencies in Glasgow and Edinburgh since 2007, she has vast experience within the letting industry. Beata is a fully qualified member of ARLA having completed her final exam in May 2017. She has managed to develop her skills further because of 1Let’s diverse and exciting working environment. Beata was promoted to Lettings Manager in August 2017 and Operations Director in October 2020. Beata’s passion for properties is ever growing! Outside 1Let, Beata loves spending time with her toddler and her partner.

Tina-Dawn Hopking, MARLA (Lettings Manager)

Tina joined the 1Let team as Lettings Negotiator in September 2020 with a wealth of customer focused experience. Her studies in Interior & Environmental Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design led to her interest in property. Tina aspires to provide tenants with a friendly and efficient journey to a new home, whilst building trusting relationships with 1Let landlords. Tina became a qualified ARLA member in October 2021 and has been promoted to Lettings Manager in December 2021. In her free time, Tina enjoys being creative through her paintings and can be spotted socialising with friends, supporting Edinburgh’s local restaurants & bars.

Rosalind Johnson, MARLA (Senior Portfolio Manager)

Rosalind joined the team in June 2022 as a Property Manager. Since 2014 she has worked with two other agencies in Edinburgh and has a wealth of experience within the letting industry. Rosalind enjoys working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment and is looking forward to growing her skill set at 1Let. She is focused on providing a first-rate customer service for both tenants and landlords by building strong relationships and providing support to both parties throughout every stage of the tenancy. In her spare time, Rosalind is an avid singer and choir director and is fortunate to have competed internationally, as well as directing several shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Rosalind holds an MA in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh.

Karolina Tatarowicz, MARLA (Portfolio Manager)

Karolina has a strong hospitality and customer service oriented background and thrives in fast paced work environment. She discovered her passion to Property Management in 2021 and decided to take up new career path. Karolina has obtained ARLA accreditation and is looking to grow and develop her skills and knowledge. In her free time, she spends time with her teenage daughter and family. They both love crime movies and books.

Rebecca Scott (Lettings Negotiator)

Rebecca graduated from Glasgow University where she studied Philosophy. This along with her swim teaching, where she assisted children with Autism, ADHD and Cerebal Palsy, has led her to begin a fulfilling career in property by helping people and creating a change. Rebecca joined 1Let in November 2022 as Lettings Negotiator and has been extremely motivated providing first class service to 1Let clients. Rebecca makes moving home as seamless and stress free as possible. She prides herself in providing exceptional service delivered in a friendly manner. She is currently working to become an ARLA qualified. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys trying new food, going for a dance with friends at the local bars and being out in nature, exploring new places.

Janina Malarska (Finance Administrator)

Janina joins 1Let for a second time having first been employed as a Property Manager for a number of years before returning to her native Poland during covid. Many will know Janina as a very conscientious and diligent person which makes her the perfect fit as a Finance Administrator. Janina loves jogging, keeping fit, interior design and keeping her cat Melon out of trouble.

Tahlia Waters (Property Administrator)

Tahlia made the move from Australia to Edinburgh five years ago and brings a wealth of customer service and administrative experience to her role as a Finance Administrator at 1Let. Her friendly nature and attention to detail make her a great fit for the team. In her free time, Tahlia enjoys knitting, attending concerts, and playing badminton with friends.

Katharine Fyfe (Compliance Manager)

Katharine is responsible for safety compliance, certificate renewals, utilities and essential property records for all managed properties. Katharine has been with 1Let since 2005 and holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.

Nicole Mollon (Finance Administrator - Currently on Maternity Leave)

Nicole joined the 1let team in March 2021 after moving back to her hometown of Edinburgh. She previously worked for a lettings agency in London for four years where she became ARLA qualified. Nicole is looking forward to hillwalking and camping trips with friends post-lockdown, and rediscovering the city.
